Analysis by Thinkbroadband, which maintains an independent database of broadband network coverage places Stirling in the top 3 local authorities in Scotland for full fibre coverage. Stirling Council has contributed £640,000 to investing in digital connectivity and rural broadband.

To complement this world class connectivity, businesses have access to highly skilled workforce, fuelled by the region’s close proximity to a large number of higher and further education institutions. The University of Stirling’s Computer Science School being ranked in the top 10 in the UK in the recent Guardian University Guide (Uni rating)
Stirling is also home to Codebase (Codebase), the largest technology incubator in the UK and one of the fastest growing in Europe. Their aim is to help people build better tech start-ups and support tech innovation wherever they can.
